According to sources and reports, Police officials had responded to a shooting at a home in Denton. The police, when they arrived on the scene noticed that a man had accidentally shot himself in the hip and that the man later died at a hospital. The identification of the man was not available, however, an online case record from Tarrant County Medical Examiner showed that the man was Ty Jordan and his death was listed as a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Ty Jordan was born on the 21st of November in the year 2001 in Mesquite Texas. Ty Jordan was a student at the West Mesquite High School and he was on the school’s track and field as well as the Football team. While being an athlete he had a personal best of 10,52 seconds in the 100-meter dash and as a football player, he had run 1236 yards and had 16 touchdowns. Post high school, Ty Jordan had first committed to playing for the Texas Longhorns but he decided to go with his gut and sign with the Utah Utes instead.

Life as a member of the Utah Utes

In the midst of the Covid 19 global pandemic, Ty Jordan went on to become the first Utah player to win the award for freshman on the year since Jason Kaufusi in the year 2000. In just his third game of the season, he rushed 27 times for 167 yards and then became the first Utes Freshman since Fuamatu Ma’afala to run three straight 100-yard rushing games.
