Jacob Roloff is an American television personality who rose to fame through the reality series, “Little People, Big World”. The show follows the Roloff family who has been diagnosed with dwarfism. However, Jacob is of normal height, unlike his parents and his brother.
On 16th December 2020, Jacob took to Instagram and shared that he was sexually abused by Former “Little People, Big World” Producer, Cardamone. Jacob wrote,
“As a child, after what I realize now was a long grooming process, I was molested by an executive field producer for ‘Little People Big World,’ Chris Cardamone”.
In his post, he also revealed that he is taking time to heal from the incident.

Since 2006, has appeared on the show, “Little People, Big World” for about 200 episodes and also appeared on the show’s spin-off series, “Little People, Big World: Wedding Farm” in 2012. Jacob also appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show twice.
Unlike his parents and his brother, Zachary, Jacob does not have dwarfism and is of normal height. He dropped out of high school and moved out of his parents’ home after turning 18 years old.
In 2006, Jacob and his friend, Mike Detjen were involved in a freak accident after a pumpkin catapult was prematurely triggered and the two sustained several injuries. Jacob underwent surgery after a small piece of his skull pushed into his brain but recovered a few days later. However, the incident was not caught on camera and was not aired in the show.
Jacob Roloff Revealed that He Was Molested As A Child
Jacob shared a post on Instagram sharing that he was sexually molested and abused by the show’s former producer, Chris Cardamone. His family came in support of him; his mother Amy Roloff wrote, “I love you forever and always Jacob. I’m proud of you. Now you don’t have to feel alone and carry this around anymore.” and his father, George Roloff wrote, “Love you Jacob George Roloff … very proud!”.
Jacob’s wife, Isabel Sofia Rock, whom he wed in September 2019, also extended her support, writing “Proud to know you, proud to love you, proud to be your wife”. Although Cardamone wished to not comment on People’s request, TLC issued a statement, “We are saddened and troubled by this very serious allegation, and TLC will work cooperatively with the authorities. Our main focus remains on supporting the Roloff family during this very difficult time”.
