The Flash Season 7 – Air Date, Cast, Trailer, and Plot. All details inside.

The Flash season 6 ended with the season finale on May 12. Unfortunately, the season is ending a few episodes early because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, the focus of fans has shifted to The Flash – Season 7.

There have been a lot of rumours and speculation about The Flash ending after next season. The cast contracts will be up after season 7, but that doesn’t mean the show will end. Contracts are renegotiated all the time.

The first five seasons of the hit TV series are available to stream on Netflix now. The Flash season 6 was added on May 20.

The Flash season 7 release date: When is it back?

Under normal circumstances, The Flash season 7 would likely premiere on The CW during the first two weeks of October 2020.

If production starts on time (like sometimes in July), we can expect to see the new season in October on The CW. If not, we’ll likely have to wait until January 2021(midseason) to see the premiere of The Flash season 7.

It’s going to be interesting to see what the timeline looks like for broadcast shows that usually come back in the fall with new seasons.

The Flash season 7 release date on Netflix depends on when the season premieres and ends on The CW. Usually, the new season of the series premieres in October and runs through May on The CW.

New seasons of the series are added on Netflix eight days after the season finale airs on The CW. Assuming The Flash Season 7 follows the usual release pattern, we can expect to see the new season on Netflix in May 2021. However, due to pandemic, there’s a chance that Netflix release date could be delayed.

The main cast is expected to return for the brand new series of The Flash. This means Grant Gustin will reprise his role as Barry Allen/ The Flash.

Joining Gustin is Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/ Vibe, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells and Jesse L Martin as Joe West.

Also expected to return is Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny/ Elongated Man and Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.

Of course, we’ll likely reunite with some of the recurring cast who play the supporting characters in the series and we cannot forget the villains that keep popping up every season.

However, as filming for the series has been delayed, there is the possibility fans will be seeing more of Dr Snow than they anticipated.

The Flash show runner Eric Wallace told TV Line:

“We’re in discussions about that right now, It’s tricky. But I think there is a happy medium which we’re going to try to accomplish. We have to see “.

Stay tuned for the official trailer for season 7!

We haven’t seen The Flash season 7 trailer yet. We should see the trailer sometime this summer, like around mid- July of San Diego Comic-Con.

The convention is cancelled this year, but if production begins before the virtual con, we might see a teaser trailer or something like that around that time. While in the meantime, Iris (Candice Patton), who was immobilized in the Mirrorverse, ignored Beebo. Even though Season 6 has finished and leaves the lovers this series, Fans will watch with attention, plus they get to know many items that’ll be shown in season 7.
