Season 6 of the 100 has come to an end. That is because in January 2018 CW boss Mark Pedowitz reported that Jason Rothenberg the producer of the series still has plenty of thoughts in his mind.

This is only one of the series and has a lot of fans all over the world. This series’ fans are of all ages and sex. The series is filled with play and action alongside a thrilling storyline. The fans can’t wait for the seventh season of the series.

Unfortunately, a piece of sad news was being confirmed by the director of the series during the last year in August 2019. Eventually, he substantiated the fact that this ongoing season, i.e, Season 7 would be the closing season for the whole series.

The speculation about the 8th season is made. And that’s why it’s all around the buzz because the fans are free in this lockdown and they want some more sci-fi drama.

The 100 Season 7 : Plot

The story of the series revolves around a group of people who survived an apocalypse. But, they are basically a bunch of criminal adolescents. These people are some of the first ones from a space habitat called the Ark who’ve come back to earth after a destructive nuclear apocalypse.

In the 100 Season 7, we see how the inhabitants are attempting to find a way to live together harmoniously after what happened in season 6. Also, the prime focus of this season is Clarke who gangs-up with her friends for a collective purpose.

The seventh season premiered on May 20, 2020. The story of this season has been written by Diana Valentine and directed by Sean Crouch. It will have a total of 16 episodes.

The 100 Season 7: Cast

Eliza Taylor will return in The 100 season seven as lead Clarke Griffin.

Other cast members include Marie Avgeropoulos as Octavia Blake, Bob Morley as Bellamy Blake, and Lindsey Morgan as Raven Reyes.

Original stars Henry Ian Cusick and Paige Turco will not be returning as Marcus Kane and Abbythe Griffin respectively following the characters’ death in Season 6.

The 100 Season 7 : Delay in the release of full episodes!

A new episode of The 100 Season 7 is released weekly on The CW.

Unfortunately, the pandemic has halted the whole cinematic and economical procedure. That’s why everything is getting delayed for a hell lot of time.

Consequently, this season’s full episodes are also bonded up to the situation. That’s why you have to wait for a while to complete the whole set of episodes for this season.

Although the production house, Warner Bros. confirmed that the production and picturization work is all set. But eventually, some post-production scenes are still left to be shot. And that has become the major reason for the delay.

Moreover, the shooting will only continue after the situation goes fine for the people. Otherwise, the director is not at all interested in putting the life of his crew members on stake just for the sake of some episodes.
