Tekashi69 was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn on the 8th of May, 1996. His mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez is from Atlixco and was a factory worker. His father, Daniel Hernandez was from Rio Piedras.
Tekashi69 also has an older brother whose name is, Oscar Osiris Hernandez. Both the brothers were raised in a church and Tekashi69 and studied at Legacy High School till the tenth grade after which he quit his education due to financial reasons.
