The COVID-19 pandemic keeps spoiling things time and again. While people have tried to adapt to the changing times, it doesn’t seem to do any good. Festivals and concerts have been canceled. Sporting events delayed. And not to forget the numerous deaths.

The year has been nothing short of a curse for civilization as a whole. And the story is no different for the National Football League. The novel coronavirus has dealt a fatal blow to the pro football league. But the outbreak has dealt the most severe blow to the Baltimore Ravens. As many as 20 players on the reserve/COVID-19 list belong to the Baltimore Ravens, including the NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.

After three postponements following the outbreak, the Ravens finally faced arch-rivals from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens clash with the Steelers resulted in a 19-14 loss. But the Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III has some complaints about the lack of preparation because of the recent COVID-related management practices.

“If we can’t come to the game properly prepared, that puts a lot of things in flux.”

Net Worth of Robert Griffin III is of $13 Million.

The 30-year-old quarterback has spent over six seasons in the NFL now. Robert Griffin III currently has a net worth of $13 Million.

With a current annual salary of $5 Million, Griffin III has made over $31 million in salary throughout his professional career. RG3 was drafted in the NFL back in the 2012 NFL drafts by the Washington Redskins and even won the 2012 NFL Rookie of the Year award. Soon a knee injury kicked off a career plagued with injuries and some poor performances.

RG3 was later dropped by the Redskins in 2015, shortly after which the Cleveland Browns signed the quarterback. But injuries and bad performance still latched onto to him, and so after only one season, the Browns dropped him. It was in 2018 that the Baltimore Ravens signed Robert Griffin III. The 30-year-old player has since been the Ravens’ backup quarterback.

Robert Griffin III raises fingers at NFL management.

After facing a defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers, many Ravens players questioned the lack of preparation and NFL management’s decisions at a time when at least one Ravens player tested positive for ten straight days.

The Ravens and Steelers clash was already postponed from its scheduled Thanksgiving night. The Ravens again refused to play the following Monday because of the same safety concerns. Griffin added,

“It’s not about whether or not guys want to play, It’s about whether or not our safety is actually being taken into account. I can’t say much more than that.”
