Tekashi 6ix9ine life before fame happened
Tekashi69 was born in Bushwick, Brooklyn on the 8th of May, 1996. His mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez is from Atlixco and was a factory worker. His father, Daniel Hernandez was from Rio Piedras.
Tekashi69 also has an older brother whose name is, Oscar Osiris Hernandez. Both the brothers were raised in a church and Tekashi69 and studied at Legacy High School till the tenth grade after which he quit his education due to financial reasons.
Growing up, Tekashi69 was interested in baseball and soccer but had to give up the sport when his mother refused to let him play at a major soccer league when he was 13 years.
He began working at grocery stores and as a delivery boy to help his mother run the family as his father and step father had both passed away.

In 2017, he rose to fame with the release of his single, Gummo and also had hit singles like Keke, Gotti and the Billboard charting song, Fefe featuring Nicki Minaj.
In the year 2015, Tekashi69 pled guilty for sexual abuse towards an underage child and in the year 2018 he was arrested for weapons and drug chargers and also gave away the names of the people involved. However, he was released from prison due to the corona pandemic in 2020 as he claimed to be vulnerable to the disease due to his asthma and was allowed to continue the tenure of his arrest at home. Right after his release he dropped a single titled Gooba and debuted at number three on the Billboard charts.

Tekashi69 is a Christian and in an interview with Angie Martinez, Tekashi69 said
“I pray a lot; I always thank God for good situations. Every time there’s a good situation, there’s a cell in my brain that says: ‘Say thank you to God.’ Tekashi69 also has a daughter, Saraiyah Hernandez that he had at 18 years old with Sara Molina in 2015.
