The American Music Awards on Sunday brought with it a number of surprises. Music fans were in for a treat as after months of entertainment blockage due to COVID, the 2020 AMAs provided some relief to the entertainment fatigued.
A night loaded with jaw dropping moments like MGK and Megan Fox’s love loaded rep carpet appearance or Weeknd’s intense bandaged performance. It was indeed a night to remember.
With so much going on, rapper Nelly also surprised fans and viewers with a surprise medley performance of his hit tracks like “Country Grammar,” “E.I.,” and “Ride Wit Me” as a celebration of his diamond-certified studio debut album “Country Grammar” completing 20 years.
Nelly’s performance at the AMAs came a night before the 46-year-old rapper’s finale night of ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Nelly along with his partner Daniella Karagach, has made it to the TOP 4 in the 29th season of the hit dance reality show.
Nelly Net Worth is around $40-$50 Million
Debuting in 2000, with the hit album “Country Grammar”, Nelly has amassed quite a wealth for him in that span of 20 years. The American rapper’s net worth currently sits somewhere in the range of $40 Million to $50 Million.

Nelly took on to the stage of the American Music Awards on Sunday night to perform to a number of tracks from his debut album Country Grammar.
The performance started off with Cedric the Entertainer introducing Nelly with a phone call before the rapper kicked off the medley. He was soon joined by fellow rapper City Spud.
The performance gave an old school rap vibe as the two rappers danced all over the stage with a relaxed attitude.
Nelly prepares for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Finale
The 29th season of the reality dance show is reaching it end. Among the last four duos left is Nelly and his partner Daniella Karagach.
One of the rounds at the finale will be a repeat round in which dancers can revisit their favourite dance style. As for Nelly, it’s samba, for which he will be dancing to “Rhythm of the Night.”
When asked about his plans if he manages to claim victory at the finale, Nelly responded by saying,
“We are getting hammered! I got my driver on standby. We are getting hammered, it’s already in the works.”
