Melvin Noble was born on the 31st of May 1993 in North Dallas. His financial situation at home was extremely bad and they struggled to feed the family. MO3 has spent nights on patios and eaten noodles for dinner. He did not have the basic necessity like electricity and often spent nights at stores to charge his phone so he could record his music.
The Rise in Fame
He first became recognized for his drill rap in 2014 when he released his mixtape titled “Shottaz”. He followed the Mixtape up with a sequel titled “Shottaz reloaded”
The mixtape had its pillars built on two singles “Gangsta love” and “Hold Ya Tongue”. They were streamed over ten million times worldwide.
The rise in fame after the two mixtapes brought him recognition and collaborations with Lil Ronny, Dorrough, and Boosie Badazz.
He further worked on Boose Badazz’z Bad Azz Music Label where he released mixtapes titled, Four Indictments Gangsta Love, Pt. 1, Shottaz 3.0, and 911: Gangsta Grillz. He also had the opportunity to work with artists like Co Gotti, Trapboy Freddy, Young Og amongst others. His success and hard work earned him a signing to the famous label, Epic Records.
Rapper Mo3 Shot Dead
On the 11th of November, Mo3 and a companion were traveling in their car on the I-35 highway and according to sources, the gunman was also on the same path. The rapper was performing at a nightclub right before the shooting.
The rapper noticed this and got down from his car and began running. As the gunman tried to chase him down, he fired shots that went through MO3’s back and head leaving him dead on the scene of the shooting. The gunman also shot the friend who was in the car but the innocent bystander survived with no fatal injuries. Mo3 was a survivor of a shooting in 2019 as well.
