According to sources, Yase was found dead on 28th November 2020 by the Dublin police in Pleasanton hospital. His body was located somewhere in the southern part of East Bay with multiple gunshot wounds. The cause of this murder is still unknown, and cops have no suspects in custody, but they continue with their investigation. Everyone is suspicious regarding the murderer as the police have no reliable claims. TMZ reported,
“Sources close to Yase tell us … he was, indeed, shot early Saturday morning — and his body was discovered somewhere in the southern section of the East Bay … which is miles away from where he was last seen.“
He was last seen one night prior hanging out with his crew in Marin County’s recording studio. Authorities said they “continue to process evidence and follow leads in the homicide investigation,” and asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact Dublin Police.
The world and his fans were shocked and filled with grief as the 26-year-old young rapper had wished them happy thanksgiving on Instagram captioning,
 “If my n**** Trippin den I’m trippin it’s up wit UNK😤😈 #HappyThanksGivin🦃” just one day before his demise. Who knew it was his last IG post. Fans started posting pictures and his music as a tribute to the artist and bidding him farewell.Â
Lil Yase’s label named Highway 420 Productions also showed condolences by posting on Instagram with a new video link for one of his tracks called “Top Dog.”
With a heartfelt caption; “We appreciate all the love and support. Yase loved his fans, he worked every day for y’all,”Â
The California musician’s real name was Alexander Mark Antonyyo Jr., and he was born in 1995. There is no solid information regarding his parents or his family and neither his girlfriend.
