Nirmata Nikki Randhawa, more professionally known as Nikki Haley was born in Bamberg, South Carolina to a Punjabi-American Family. Her parents, Ajit Singh and mother Raj Kaur were migrants from Amritsar, India. Her father was a professor at Punjab Agricultural University and her mother was a law graduate.
Nikki Haley has three siblings, one sister and two brothers. She attended school at Orangeburg Preparty School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Clemson.

So when I look at South Carolina, we look at our situations, we’re not hearing of anybody’s religious liberties that are being violated, and we’re, again, not hearing any citizens that feel like they are being violated in terms of freedoms.”
