Cliff Bentz was born and raised in Salem, Oregon on January 12th, 1952. His parents were Kenneth Bentz and Anne Bentz. He attended school at Regis High School and completed in 1970. He achieved his Bachelor’s degree in 1974 from Eastern Oregon State College. He also got his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law school and was a law associate with an Ontario-based law firm and he made junior associate in 1980.

Cliff Bentz has also gone to issue statements regarding healthcare. He made it extremely clear that he is completely against a government-run health care unit and believed that Obamacare should be replaced a free market to bring down the cost of healthcare.
Oregon Legislature
In the year 2008, Cliff Bentz became a member of the Oregon house of representatives, replacing Tom Butler.
He won the election against Tim K. Smith and stood unopposed in the 2008 general election.
In 2018 he was officially sworn in to replace Ted Ferrioli as a state senator. His largest campaign supporters have been a London based security firm, Ironside Associates, and his brother James Bentz.
On June 20th, 2019, all the republican state senators refused to work to prevent the vote on HB2020 that was proposed to lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Cliff Bentz officially resigned from his position on the second of January this year to contest in the elections again, representing Oregon’s 2nd congressional district. He has officially won the elections once again as of today.
