MacKenzie Scott Bio

MacKenzie Scott is among the wealthiest people in the world. The 50-year-old venture philanthropist is a well-known writer, but the major share of her wealth comes from the divorce settlement of $38 Billion that she received in 2019. It made her the 22nd wealthiest person in the world.

It’s a known fact that America has the most unequal distribution of wealth and income among all the major superpowers of the world. A handful of some hundred people own more wealth than the rest of the population combined.

People have been engaged in class warfare for decades now. And the income difference is only increasing significantly. Leading the list of the wealthiest people in the world is Amazon CEOJeff Bezos. The multi-billionaire has a stronghold over the world.

It is said that even if Jeff Bezos ends world poverty with his wealth, he would still be a billionaire. However, the 56-year-old CEO and President of Amazon had to part away with a portion of his wealth when his divorce was finalized.

MacKenzie Scott received a hefty chunk of wealth from her divorce from Jeff Bezos. It made her one of the richest people in the world. However, MacKenzie has been giving away her wealth at quite a significant rate. Just in the last four months, she has donated over $4 Billion towards relief funds and food banks.
