Following her graduation, Miller went on the continue her studies, earning a Master Of Science degree in Urban Studies from the University of New Orleans. Between 1998 to 2001, Miller was appointed by Dillard University, where she taught Broadcast Journalism. During her time at Dillard, Miller went on to interview several high profile guests as a part of her college curriculum. These include global politicians and celebrities like Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Noble Prize Winner Wangari Mathai, Beyonce, Lenny Kravitz, Denzel Washingtonand many more.
