“Mark Esper has been terminated. I would like to thank him for his service,” Trump said on Twitter, announcing his replacement by Christopher Miller, the current head of the National Counterterrorism Center.”

Born on April 26, 1964, Mark Thomas Esper is a child of Pauline ‘Polly’ Reagan and Thomas Joseph Esper. He completed his graduation in 1982 from Laurel Highlands High School outside Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Furthermore, he earned a degree in engineering Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy in 1986.

After the culmination of Ranger and Pathfinder practice, Esper served in the 101st Airborne Division as well as made an enormous contribution in the Gulf War of 1990-91. He later commanded a Rifle Company in the 3-325 Airborne Battalion Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy. After 10 years of dedicated service, He retired from the U.S. Army in 2007.

He worked in the office from July 23, 2019, to November 2020 and was true to his service.
