Malik Beasley was a student at Saint Francis School and in his senior year he averaged close to 22.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.6 blocks. He also went on to win the Class 1A player of the year of the state of Georgia and also made the All state class first team.

He was a student in Highschool alongside Kobi Simmons, Kaiser Gates, and the BSC Football player Jacob Davis.

After he completed his high school he received offers from various universities like UConn, UCLA, Wake Forest, Oregon amongst other prestigious institutions but he stayed committed to Florida State.

In his first year at Florida University,  as a freshman, Malik Beasley averaged close to averaged 15.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 29.8 minutes per game. He was also a part of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s all-freshman team and was ranked at the eighth position in free throws and he was ranked tenth in field goal percentage with an average of 471.

However in 2016, on the 21st of March, Malik Beasley took the big decision of letting go of his final three years of college to declare himself in the NBA Draft where he was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 2016.
