The show was said to be released in the late 2020 but due to the unforeseen news of the pandemic, the release is rumoured to be shifted to 2021. However, before the pandemic started, they could only finish filming 16 episodes from 20 for two. Luckily, the show was renewed before season two hit the screens.

Legacies Season 3 – Cast
After the shows such as Vampire Diaries and The Originals and their main characters Elena, Bonnie and Caroline have been speculated to join the show. The thought of them even joining the show has given the fans the chills. The production of the show has not clearly addressed this rumour but have commented that they do like the idea of it.
Most of the people are said to survive the show’s season two including, Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson, Aria Shahghasemi as Landon Kirby, Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman, Jenny Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman, and Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman.
Other cast members are going to include Quincy Fouse as MG and Peyton Alex Smith as Rafael Waithe.
Legacies Season 3 – Plot
