Couric attended Arlington Public Schools: Jamestown Elementary, Williamsburg Middle School, and Yorktown High School and was a cheerleader. Katie Couric has shown interest in journalism since a young age. As a high school student, she was an intern at Washington, D.C. all-news radio station WAVA.
