Michael Anthony Strahan is an American journalist, T.V personality. He is an erstwhile professional football player and in his entire 15-year-career, he played for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played at the position of the defensive end. In 2001, he set a record for most sacks in a season. Strahan in his final season in 2007, helped the New York Giants to win Super Bowl XLII against New England Patriots. After retiring from NFL he became a television personality.
He is currently a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday. He also co-hosts ABC network’s Good Morning America. From 2012 to 2016, he co-hosted the syndicated daytime talk show Live! with Kelly and Michael with Kelly Ripa. Michael Strahan, well known as the host of Good Morning America gets tests positive for COVID-19 and he is under self-quarantine. Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Amy Robach addressed everyone that their fellow co-host had tested positive.
Roberts said: “We know that you have noticed that Michael has not been here with us this week,” . “He wanted us to let you know he has tested positive for Covid. He’s at home quarantining right now.”
Stephanopoulos said that Strahan is grateful and acknowledge that that “so many of you asked about him, reached out to him”.
“He’s also feeling well and looking forward to being back here shortly,” Stephanopoulos said. “You should know that all of us here, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, have been cleared by Disney to be here after contact tracing and following CDC guidelines.”

Michael Strahan was born on the 21st of November in the year 1971 in Houston, Texas. Strahan was born to Louise (Traylor) Strahan who is a basketball coach and Gene Willie Strahan, who is a retired Army Major and a boxer with a 1–1 record against future heavyweight Ken Norton. Strahan is the nephew of Arthur Strahan, a retired NFL defensive lineman. He went to Westbury High School in Texas and completed his graduation from Mannheim Christian. Strahan was drafted in 1993 by New York Giants, Round: 2 and Pick: 40.

Strahan first married Wanda Hutchins in 1992, and the couple together has a daughter, Tanita Strahan, and a son, Michael Anthony Strahan, Jr, but the couple divorced in 1996. He bought them a $163,000 house in the same Houston neighborhood where his parents live.
Later-on Strahan met Jean Muggli at a spa and got married in 1999. The couple together has twin daughters named Isabella and Sophia(born in December 2004). Muggli and Strahan finalized their divorce on July 20, 2006. Muggli was awarded $15 million for divorce settlements in January 2007 and $18,000 monthly child support.Â
