Following 10 seasons as a member of the Minnesota Vikings, veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph has been released by the team. The release was confirmed by the team on Tuesday.
Drafted in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, Rudolph,31 will become a free agent for the first time in his career. Releasing Rudolph will save Minnesota $5.1 million against the salary cap for 2021.
