Eva Marisol Gutowski, who is also known as “MyLifeasEva” is a YouTube actress and influencer with over 11 million subscribers on YouTube. In an interview with J-14, Eva shared some of her thoughts about TikTok. The star who has been included in Billboard’s Social Media Stars list recently bared her thoughts about what is the thing that she likes the most about the social media platform.
The 25-year-old who was ranked 4th in Variety’s Famechangers Digital Star Ranking list told J-14 that the thing she likes about TikTok the most is that there aren’t super set in stone TikTok creators. She also went on to say that there is always someone new on her feed. The star from California also said that literally every day, she finds someone who is super funny.
In the interview, she mentioned that according to her, the best part about TikTok is the fact that it is such a new platform for content, and everyone has a chance to go viral and it’s really cool finding new people.
Although, the YouTube star also shared that YouTube will always be her first love. Even though TikTok is great and she loves it, YouTube will always be number 1 for her.
She was termed YouTube’s fastest-growing star by People. She has authored ‘My Life as Eva: The Struggle is Real’, which is a lifestyle and advice book. She has also starred in ‘Me and My Grandma’ which is a YouTube red web series. The series premiered on 22nd March 2017 on Eva’s YouTube channel.
Eva also joined the revamped Total Request Live along with other YouTube stars like Gabbie Hanna and Gigi Gorgeous. She feels strongly for social causes and also appeared in a PETA ad, protesting marine parks that keep mammals and other animals imprisoned in tanks in 2019.
In the interview, Eva also shared that she loves YouTube, and literally falls asleep on YouTube. She knows she should be careful because it is kind of dangerous. But she says she gets sucked in.
About TikTok, she said that she only goes there when she wants to make a TikTok and then just scroll for two hours. Well, isn’t that relatable?
