Eiza González Reyna has set to pave her way as the new action woman of Hollywood. Her latest film is Bloodshot, which is an action-packed film is an orientation of the comic books Valiant Comics and stars Ray Garrison, a soldier that is killed and brought back to life with superpowers of regeneration.
She was involved in physical training like underwater diving during the production of Bloodshot. She also practiced breathing techniques. The film features various stunt scenes and military weapons that will keep the audience from moving from their seats. Eiza broke the cycle of the typical stereotype roles of a Latina and is one of the first Mexican actresses in Hollywood to play a superhero role.
The 30-year-old learned new fight moves during her stunt training on set, and also trained with a baton. She recently shared clips of her training for stunt scenes with a baton on her Instagram account with the following caption: “Here’s some footage of how I learned the whole fight choreography, incredible stunt team, it was fun to learn how to use a baton”.
Born on 30th January 1990, Eiza González Reyna is a Mexican singer and actress. She gained popularity for her debut role as Lola Valente in the ‘Lola, érase una vez’ which is a Mexican musical telenovela. On the Nickelodeon teen drama Sueña conmigo, she played the lead role of Clara Molina. Eiza gained further success after she did the American horror series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series (2014-2016) starring as Santanico Pandemonium.
She also received appreciation for her roles as Monica “Darling” Castello in Baby Driver (2017) which is an action-crime film, Nyssiana in the cyberpunk action film Alita: Battle Angel (2019), and Madam M in Hobbs & Shaw which is a spin-off film of The Fast and the Furious. All these roles are action-packed ones that require a lot of physical training. Audiences love these roles and movies as they get a thrill from them.
