Artem Chigvintsev was born in June 1982 in Izhevsk, Udmurt Republic, RSFSR, Soviet Union. He moved to America in 2003 to make his career in dancing. His reality show journey started when he auditioned for ’So You Think You Can Dance’. Unfortunately, he was eliminated early in that season but returned in the next one as a choreographer. Later, He appeared on the reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ and took part in a live touring show. In 2010 He joined season 8 of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as a professional dancer and was partnered with actress Kara Tointon which later became his girlfriend.
Through his 9 seasons in DWTS, he finally won the 29th season pairing with Kaitlyn Bristowe.
