Born on March 14, 1984, Congressman Dan Crenshaw is an American politician and former United States Navy SEAL officer. He is serving in the United States House of Representatives for Texas’s 2nd congressional district as a member of the Republican Party for northern and western parts of Houston.
The former officer has had many awards such as Purple Heart, Bronze Heart, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and many more. Dan Crenshaw was commissioned in United States Navy and served as a SEAL for three years in the War of Afghanistan where he reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

He was elected in the 2018 midterm elections to succeed the retiring Ted Poe whom he served as a legislative assistant.
