Charli D’Amelio Joins the Cast of ‘Stardog & Turbocat’ Movie

Charli D’Amelio is gaining new heights in her career. Recently we saw her shake a leg with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and now she is working in an Animated movie Stardog and Turbocat

Recently Charlie posted a video of her recording some lines for the movie. on her TikTok account. 

She wrote:

“stay tuned for updates on my new animated film stardog and turbocat,”

As of now, there is no official statement about the star cast, release date or the script. 

The first “Stardog and Turbocat” movie was released on 6 December 2019 in the UK. It wasn’t a big hit at the box office grossing just $358,772 worldwide.

The movie had a huge star cast featuring Luke Evans playing the role of Felix, Nick Frost as Buddy, Gemma Arterton who plays Cassidy and Bill Nighy as Sinclair (voice). The movie was written and directed by Ben SmithThe movie was produced by the Red Star 3D animation studio in the UK. 

The movie revolves around a dog Buddy (Nick Frost) who is launched into space by his owner, who is a scientist. His spacecraft crashes into a place where pets are ruthless and surrounded by Cop named Peck, who is an animal hater. To return home and reunite with his owner. Buddy starts working with a genius millionaire cat Felix played by Luke Evans. During their adventure in the town, the come across rabbit Cassidy played by Gemma Arterton. Peck is the villain of the movie. Buddy and Felix are forced to face Peck and evolve into heroes.

It’s tiresome stuff, with needless bickering substituted for actual character development (the script, from debut writer-director Ben Smith, needed work), while the US setting is baffling.

StarDog may work its slight charms on young children, but older kids will feel they’ve seen smarter, funnier and cleverer before.
