In 1979, Bronfman’s marriage to actress Sherry Brewer, which faced disapproval from his father, led to estrangement within the family. The couple, who eloped, had three children—Benjamin, Vanessa, and Hannah—before their divorce in 1991. Benjamin, also known as Ben Brewer, is a musician engaged to artist M.I.A., with whom he has a son, Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman. Hannah has made a name for herself as an actress and DJ and is known for the Beautified app.
