Bill Ritter is a television news anchor and journalist. Starting as a weekend anchor for “Eyewitness News”, Ritter was named the co-anchor of the show in 2001. He has been the co-anchor of the “11PM News” since 1999, and is also a correspondent for ABC News‘, “20/20”.
Bill covers fire safety and prevention for “Eyewitness News”, hosting the annual “Operation 7 Save A Life” campaign. Ritter was the first person on live television to be tested for prostate cancer. He paraglided down an 11,000-foot mountain in Aspen, climbed a rock face in Canada, “posed” at a rodeo as a bull-clown in Texas, and was the first non-Barnum and Bailey employee to perform in the circus on a trapeze.
