Ben Carson, who is President Trump’s Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is the latest addition to the list of COVID-infected individuals.
Carson’s deputy chief of staff Coalter Baker broke the news in a statement to CNN :
“Secretary Carson has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is in good spirits and feels fortunate to have access to effective therapeutics which aid and markedly speed his recovery.”

The 69-year-old HUD Secretary was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after he was experiencing some of the symptoms. Though after his testing, Carson left the hospital and is currently resting at his house.
Andrew Hughes, Carson’s Cheif Of Staff disclosed HUD Secretary’s diagnosis in a staff letter that stated :
“He is resting at his house and is already beginning to feel better.”
Carson’s infection can be traced back to an election party that he attended. The party that also featured White House chief of staff Mark Meadows saw almost every other attendee without a mask. Meadows and four others of Trump’s staff tested positive last week. Carson is a neurosurgeon who was spotted without a mask time and again.
