Robinson Jose Cano is a baseball second baseman player for the New York Mets. He plays in the Major League Baseball(MLB).

The team president, Sandy Alderson issued a statement saying,
“We were extremely disappointed to be informed about Robinson’s suspension for violating Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. The violation is very unfortunate for him, the organization, our fans, and the sport. The Mets fully support MLB’s efforts toward eliminating performance enhancing substances from the game.”
Due to this suspension, Robinson Cano will not be eligible to his salary and his brand endorsements may also take a hit. However, he is most likely to rejoin New York in the 2022 Season.

Robinson Cano was born on the 22nd of October, 1982 in San Pedro De Macori, Dominican Republic. He spent his grade seven to nine in Barringer High school and then moved to study at the San Pedro Apostol High School. He also played for the Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican Winter Baseball League.
His father’s name is Jose Cano and he played with the New York Yankees as a free agent and was a part of the Minor leagues with the Atlanta Braves.
