Andrew Sebastian Benintendi, also known as Benny, is a professional American baseball outfielder playing for the Kanas City Royals of MLB ( Major League Baseball). In 2016, he made his MLB debut with the Boston Red Sox and played with them until 2020. Benintendi was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the first round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.

Boston Red Sox sent Benintendi to Kanas City Royals in a three-team trade that also included the New York Mets. Boston Red Sox traded him with an unspecified amount of cash to the Royals for outfielder Franchy Cordero and two players to be named later.
