Lindsey Vonn is a former World Cup alpine ski racer of the American Ski Team. She is the winner of four World Cup overall championships, winning three consecutive titles from 2008 to 2010 and another in 2012. She is ranked the second-highest of all skiers around the world.

Vonn had her first big break at 15 when she became the first American female to win the first place trophy at the Trofeo Topolino and made her World Cup debut at 16.
Making her Olympic debut 17, Vonn raced in both the slalom and combined competitions. In 2003, she earned a silver medal in the Junior World Championship, and the following year, she climbed onto the World Cup podium for the first time when she finished third in a downhill in 2004 at Cortina d’Ampezzo. In the same year, Vonn captured five more podiums.
At her second Winter Olympics in 2006, Vonn clocked the second-best time in the first practice run but crashed in the second training run and had to be evacuated and was hospitalized overnight. Despite being in severe pain, she returned to the slope two days later. She competed and finished eighth. For her brave performance, Vonn won the U.S. Olympic Spirit Award.

Lindsey Vonn Announces Breakup With P.K. Subban
After getting engaged in 2019, Vonn and P.K. Subban announced on 29th December that they have ended their relationship. Subban took to Instagram and shared,
“Lindsey is one of the kindest and caring people I know. I will always treasure our time as a couple together and the many laughs we shared. After much consideration, we have decided to move forward separately. We will always remain friends and love each other immensely. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time”.
Vonn also shared on her account, “Over the past 3 years PK and I have had some incredible times together. He is a kind, good man, and someone I respect a great deal”.
The couple announced their engagement in August 2019 and Vonn proposed to Subban in December 2019. “Women aren’t the only ones who should get engagement rings!,” said Vonn sharing the news.
