Deirdre Bolton is an American news anchor and television host, and currently, a correspondent for ABC News. She was previously the host of “Risk & Reward” for Fox News. Born in Newton, Pennsylvania, Bolton currently lives in New York with her husband and their two children.
Earlier this year, Bolton moved from Fox News to ABC News to cover the economic impact of COVID-19. ABC News President, James Goldston announced the news of her hire as a correspondent based out of New York. Prior to ABC News, she covered business, finance, and economy at Fox News. At ABC News, Bolton covers COVID-19’s economic impact. Goldston shared an email with the team welcoming Bolton to ABC News and praised Bolton, “As an accomplished reporter, Deirdre is adept at translating complex financial concepts into understandable ideas and facts. She reported on some of the biggest stories over the past two decades”.
