His Rise to Fame at NBC
Chuck Todd joined NBC in 2007 and was the Political Director for NBC News. He started off as a political analyst on various political shows with NBC.
He then proceeded to work at National Journal’s The Hotline from 1992 to 2007 and also served as their editor-in-chief for 6 years. During his career at The Hotline, Todd has also hosted the daily and weekly webcast series, Hotline TV, along with John Mercurio.
He was announced as NBC News Chief White House Correspondent in 2008 as a partner with Savannah Guthrie and he was also the Contributing Editor for Meet The Press at that time. In 2013, he became co-host of The Daily Rundown of MSNBC with Guthrie.
