Dr. Amie Harwick, a well-known Hollywood family and mariage therapist, was killed Saturday at her resident in the Hollywood Hills, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
LAPD said in an statement:
“On Saturday, February 15, 2020, around 1:16 a.m. Hollywood patrol officers responded to a radio call of a ‘woman screaming’ in the 2000 block of Mound Street in Hollywood Hills,
As per TMZ reports Pursehouse had dated Amie recently and she filed a restraining order against him when they broke up.
Online records show that he is being held on $2 million bail at the Los Angeles County Jail.
Pursehouse was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and was booked into jail at 2:16 a.m. on Sunday, according to the jail records.
When officers arrived, Amie’s roommate informed officers that she was being assaulted. The roommate had escaped to a neighboring residence to call for help.
