Today, Huami announced the release of its smartwatch product in a press conference in Beijing. The company has launched three of its Amazfit smartwatches – Amazfit GTS, Amazfit smartwatch 3 and Amazfit X. Huami has come up with better technology to help the users in having smoother experience while running.

According to a Huami financial report, Huami Technology smart device shipments exceeded 100 million units for the last quarter of the year. The shipments are still solid as it has made the Amazfit GTR the best selling model in Chinese online stores.

Huami Amazfit GTS had a square-shaped appearance just like an Apple Watch, it also includes same dial interaction as Apple watches. On the other hand, Amazfit Smartwatch 3 adopts a round dial, directly targeting the standard Jiaming watches.

The Chinese customers have been criticizing the Huami products for a long time because of their identical features and appearances.

Amazfit GTS

Amazfit GTS has a completely different appearance than the previous Huami products. The smartwatch comes in 7 color variants, making it more versatile for everyday use. It only weighs 24.8 grams with a thickness of 9.8 mm. It also uses the aerospace-grade aluminum alloy metal for its body.

One of the most amazing features of this new smartwatch is that it includes a 1.65-inch square super retina-level resolution AMOLED screen. This particular screen has 100% NTSC high color saturation with an amazing subpixel density of 341ppi.

Amazfit GTS offers 12 mainstream sports modes and has NFC access control. The smartwatch is waterproof up to 50 meters underwater. It also has a built-in GPS+GLONASS dual-star positioning chip, Bio-tracker PPG bio-tracking optical sensor. It can last up to 14 days and the watch mode can be used for 46 days.

Amazfit Smart Sport Watch 3

This new range comes in two variants – Amazfit smart sports watch 3 and Amazfit smart sports watch 3E Elite.

It weighs 59.6 grams and has a mixed body of polycarbonate and fiberglass polymer. In addition to that, this model has 316L stainless steel and 5ATM waterproofing range. It includes 1.36 inches full circular reflective screen with 260,000 colors of JDI.

The company has inserted a dual-core processor inside this smartwatch that works at 1.2 GHz. It also arrives with a 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM.

This new range of watch has a built-in Firstbeat algorithm that fulfills various purposes like it provides a variety of professional data according to the movement rules, can avoid the damage caused by excessive exercise, has 19 professional sports modes, etc. Amazfit smart sports watch 3 can run for 7 days with Android and 14 days with Ultra mode.

Along with the previous features, this smartwatch includes a built-in Sony GNSS chip, supports GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo four different satellite positioning systems. This allows the users to choose three navigation combinations for their speed and tracks accuracy. It also supports the NFC function along with Bluetooth.

Amazfit X

Huami Amazfit X has a full moon shape, designed for better ergonomics. This smartwatch also has a fully integrated metal body. According to a report, millions of dollars have been invested in R&D to develop this new smartwatch.

The smartwatch has a 2.07-inch screen with a resolution of 326ppi. The screen features 100% high NTSC color saturation and has a superior brightness up to 430nits. It includes a 12.5 mm ultra-high fall 3D curved glass body. This particular model has a hidden pressure button and three-section base plate. It also comes with a curved lithium battery with 7 days of battery life.

The Amazfit GTS is priced at 899 Yuan (~Rs 9,000). The Amazfit Sports Watch 3 standard edition will cost 1,299 Yuan (~Rs 13,000) while the Elite edition carries a price tag of 1,699 Yuan (~Rs 17,000). For now, the latest smartwatches are available only in China. No details regarding Indian availability are known.
