Early Life
Born on December 20, 1963, in Karachi, Pakistan, Theba is a member of the Gujarati-speaking Theba tribe from Sindh. He moved to the United States for higher education, attending the University of Oklahoma in 1981 to study civil engineering. However, his passion for acting led him to drop out and move to New York. He eventually obtained a BS in Construction Engineering Management. In 1986, he returned to the University of Oklahoma to earn a theater degree and then relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.

Career
Theba’s early break in the industry came with a role in the NBC television pilot “Death and Taxes.” Although the show did not continue, it opened the door for his recurring role on “The George Carlin Show.” He also appeared on shows such as “Married… with Children,” “ER,” and had a brief stint on “Family Matters.” His expansive career includes guest appearances on popular series like “Nip/Tuck,” “Alias,” “Two and a Half Men,” and “ER,” among others.

Notably, Theba had guest roles on “Community” as Gobi Nadir and on “NCIS.” He was also present at the 100th dinner service on “Hell’s Kitchen.” In the realm of voice acting, he contributed his voice to the character Slav in “Voltron: Legendary Defender” and portrayed General Umair Zaman on HBO’s “The Brink.”
