Swagtron is a well-known leader in providing innovative products such as scooters, hoverboards, electric skateboards, unicycles, and bicycles, has recently launched a new e-Bike, in its ultra-affordable lineup.
The Swagtron EB12 looks almost like any standard pedal bike except the 270Wh battery mounted on its rear rack. The design looks okay but the rear-mounted battery makes it a little weird and not liked by critics and reviewers.

The rear wheel of the bike contains a 250W motor. This motor allows the rider to get the maximum speed of 28mph(45 km/h). The speed can either be controlled by twisting the throttle in the handlebar or by pedaling. But the bike will only go up to 16mph(26km/h) when ridden on the throttle-only mode. The highest speed can only be achieved by pedaling the bike which makes it nothing but a standard bike. It also comes with a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain, which will allow the rider to shift gears as they may.
The 700c wheels, flat bar setup, and satin black paint job gives it a very appealing look. The entire weight of the bike is around 39.4 pounds(17.8 kg), which is very lightweight.
There aren’t too many other features on the bike, meaning the accessories such as “bells” or “reflectors”.
But for $999, how much more can you want?
